What is a Maid Café?
A Maid Café is a theme restaurant. It is a phenomenon born of the otaku (anime/game fan) culture of Japan.

The main purpose of the café is roleplay! The waitstaff dress in adorable maid and butler uniforms and treat their customers as if they are the master or mistress at the head of a wealthy household.

The experience is extra-special for the guest because they get more politeness and pampering than they would at a typical restaurant or Café.
