What
does the Maid Café Offer?
The
Maid Café offers
a flexible way to add fun to your event. We
offer two types of events:
1.
The Maid
Café!
During
a Maid Café event
we serve snacks
and tea and chat with the guests. We
also play anime
and
themed games for cool Japanese prizes!
2.
Maid Tea Party! The tea party is ideal for situations where
outside food is not permitted at a con. The focus of the
event is shifted to playing fun, interactive games with
the guests and providing them with an opportunity to
socialize. We will also serve tea if permitted.
The Maid Café offers a taste of otaku life that you
typically don’t get outside of Japan, all with great
service and a super-sociable staff! The purpose of the Maid
Café is to make a con or event more enjoyable and entertaining
for the guest.
The
Maid Café
offers a
"cast of characters" that you won't soon forget!
We strive to be as cute and charming as you would expect from
your favorite anime. If you're a fan of series like Love Hina
or dating games, then the Maid
Café will be right up your alley! The
waitstaff interacts with the guests and with each other to
create a unique "performance." The guests get to
sit back enjoy a party-like atmosphere while the waitstaff
interacts with and entertains them!
For
both types of events we will need a room with chairs and preferably
with tables to operate in. The other specifics depend on the
type of event and what sort of activities we will be doing.

Cost of Hire
In
an effort to give back to the con community limebarb.com provides
the Maid Café with the cost of operation divided between
the con and limebarb.com. Generally, We ask that you provide
us with basic coverage of us attending the con, and in return
we take on the responsibilities of running the event and the
cost of all food and supplies (up to a pre-determined amount.)
We work with different cons of different sizes, so a different
contract will be drafted for each convention/event in order
to make sure everyone's needs are met. Everything
is negotiable.
